Women in Finance has facilitated access to training material from various sources on a license fee basis allowing for more cost effective courses to be offered. Ekurhuleni Municipality is in the process of finalising their calendar to include our workshops. We will be using this as a pilot before approaching other Municipalities. We have secured a list of the 136 top priority municipalities which we will be using in our marketing initiatives in this regard.

It is believed that the format for these discussions would be better suited to panel discussion represented by senior leaders in industry, civil society and government.
In line with the objective of empowering women as a whole, an Equity Awards Programme would be a useful way of obtaining commitment from women, government and civil society to contribute effort into the process.
In order for the above objectives to be effective in society, women need to believe that they are worthy of the position crafted. This may be achieved by a journey of self reflection.
